REFLEXES is a lean, distraction-free reflex trainer. Its primary strength is developing genuine reaction time and hand-eye coordination — skills with real-world transfer to sports, typing, and attentional tasks. The game's obstacle-dodging loop also builds spatial awareness as players learn to read and anticipate incoming patterns. Because the challenge increases organically as players improve, there is a modest adaptive quality to the experience. The simplicity of the design keeps the cognitive load focused: children practice sustained attention and quick motor decision-making without being overwhelmed by extraneous systems.

As an early experimental project, REFLEXES carries very few structural risks. There are no monetization mechanics, no social features, no loot boxes, and no notifications. The main mild concern is the 'one more run' loop common to arcade-style games — near-miss moments (just barely failing) and the open-ended nature of score-chasing can encourage slightly longer sessions than intended. Loss aversion is also mildly present, as failing and restarting from zero can frustrate younger players. These are low-level concerns typical of the genre rather than deliberate manipulation.
